Personality Portraits
Getting ALL of their expressions!
When you bring me your little ones, I work hard to get as many of their classic expressions as possible. That face he makes All. The. Time? That doesn’t last forever, and whether you are glad or sad to see it outgrown, you will always have a beautiful portrait to remember their big personality in this little moment.
If you have kids FULL of personality, this is the perfect way to capture their own special brand of crazy! In studio let us keep the focus on these two brothers, and bringing in some favorite toys captured them right where they are today. It’s a perfect snapshot of who they are right now, for them and their parents to remember this stage amongst all the amazing stages as they grow, grow, grow so fast!
And best of all is capturing a good action series with all the expressions like below… a story-tellers dream!
unkown
“A boy is Truth with dirt on its face,
Beauty with a cut on its finger,
Wisdom with bubble gum in its hair,
and the Hope of the future with a frog in its pocket.”
This family originally came to me through word of mouth, because we are local to each other… very local! We had been running in similar circles and never met, and I was so excited to get my camera on their two energetic boys.
We met at Confections Bakery & Cafe on McGinnis Ferry Road for our Design Consultation (if you haven’t been, I recommend stopping by), and as we talked through what their parents had in mind, it became clear that a studio session with clean backgrounds and all the focus on the boys would be perfect. And with that established, we talked through the rest of the details I needed to design a perfect session for them.
We included several of their FAVORITE toys in the session, including balls (a LOOOT of balls!), their twin balance bikes, and my personal fave, matching portable D.J. stations. And with that, the stage was set for a dance party!
They danced, they rode their bikes through the studio, they dumped out and cleaned up an entire bin of balls (several times), and just generally had fun playing and laughing. And at the end of it, they had the memory of a fun day in that crazy lady’s studio, but even better… portraits to remember it in detail forever.
